We teach spoken Arabic in the Levantine dialect, widely recognized across the Arab world.
The pace of learning varies by individual and their exposure to the language. Students who actively use Arabic in daily life progress faster. Typically, after one term, students can confidently converse on topics covered in Beginners I.

We start at the age of 3 years with the Reception level and take our kids up to the Advanced level, GCSE, and AS level - age 16 years, the perfect supplement to the Arabic provided at schools.
Our Arabic for Children classes are held on Sundays from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM (a two-and-a-half-hour session) and on Fridays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (a two-hour session) – 10-minute breaks are included. During these classes, we focus on developing the four skills: listening, reading, writing, and focusing on speaking.
ALC Arabic teachers are from the Levant region, Lebanon, Jordan & Syria. They are native Arabic speakers and hold a minimum BA degree in education. They undergo continuous training.
We recognize that choosing an Arabic language class for your child is an important decision. ALC has been at the forefront of children’s Arabic language learning since 1988. We teach children in a fun way, complementing the school curriculum whilst at the same time helping to simplify the process of learning.
We focus on oral communication to get students to speak the language in class. With the younger children, through singing, storytelling, and games; with older children, by role play. To learn a language, children must enjoy it. As such, we aim to incorporate a variety of activities in the lessons to keep the children interested and motivated, so that they enjoy it.
We arrange a free trial class. During this trial, we assess your child's level of Arabic before placing them in our classes.
All our public classes are held at ALC, conveniently situated on the Fourth Floor of the Dubai World Trade Centre Tower (also known as Sheikh Rashid Tower).
For adults, at the end of each level, the student will receive a certificate of achievement. For children & teens, after completing three consecutive terms, every child will take a certificate mentioning that he/she achieved this level.
Students at ALC are grouped by age and level to ensure they learn at an appropriate pace.
